Everything about The Cozumel Fox totally explained
The
Cozumel Fox (
Urocyon sp. nov.) is an unnamed
species of
fox which is apparently close to
extinction or even already extinct, is (or was until recently) found on the island of
Cozumel,
Mexico. The Cozumel Fox, which hasn't been scientifically described to date, is a dwarf form like the
Island Fox but slightly larger, being up to three-quarters the size of the
Gray Fox. It had been isolated on the island for at least 5000 - 13000 years, and probably far longer.
